“Sometimes you don’t need a goal in life, you don’t need to know the big picture. You just need to know what you’re going to do next.”
We should all have goals. If our only goal is to get out of bed in the morning, then that’s a goal. But I have recently vowed to the following goals:
Financial
Career
Personal
My financial goal is: I would like to have $5000, unexpected income, within the next week. I would like to have $20,000 unexpected income, within the next 30 days. and by the end of the year I wanted to have contributed $70,000 to the household income. This is my goal. This is always my goal. See, I don’t need much.
My career goal is: write. Write today. Write tomorrow. Always write. And if you have an opportunity to let someone else see it then let them.
My personal goal is: move. I need to get off my butt and move. My goal is to move forward, either by walking or running. And once I get past that then get into organized moving events: 5k’s, mini-marathons, half-marathons, marathons. It doesn’t matter at this point if I finish, what matters is that I start.
What kind of goals do you have? Do you have them written down? Are they attainable?
